Alright! This one is for all you last minute, late to the party, Christmas procrastinators. You know who you are! You still have presents to wrap or maybe even a couple left to buy. Hey, it happens! I get it. No judgement. I’m here for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re hosting the party or just attending, this is the perfect recipe to have up your sleeve. It only requires 7 simple ingredients, 1 bowl, and about 5 minutes of your time to make. Seriously!! Could it get any easier??? Oh and did I mention it’s deliciously addicting?!? Time to handle this Christmas stuff like the boss that you are!
Here’s all you’ll need: cream cheese, white sugar, powdered sugar, eggnog, nutmeg, rum extract, and something to dip (think Nella wafers, graham crackers, or anything cookie like).
Step One: Throw this together real quick. Step 2: Pretend you’ve been planning this for months. Step 3: Receive endless compliments.
But seriously dump everything (but the cookies) in the bowl. For real. Every single ingredient. One bowl.
Mix on medium for 2 minutes or until smooth. I put the until smooth just in case, but really 2 minutes should be plenty.
This is what I mean by until smooth. It should look like this….and BAM! You’re done!! No really! So I’m pretty sure this is the easiest possible recipe you can make! But it’s also SOOO good!!! You HAVE to try it!! Also no need to break out the Kitchen Aid. My mini hand blender broke and it’s taking 4-EVAAAAA for the new one to get here!!! But I would totally use a hand mixer for this recipe under normal circumstances.
Serve with Nella Wafers…..or graham crackers or Jingles or even pretzels would be great! Work with what you got!! Oh and I would totally wait til after the party to wash the bowl. Just saying! Merry Christmas!!! (BTW…this serving platter is just a $3.99 Santa bowl from the Christmas Tree Shoppes sitting on top of a Dollar Store plate. Like I said……..work with what ya got!!)
