I’m pretty sure gum balls are the universal symbol of childhood. I remember asking for a quarter on every grocery trip so I could hit up the gum ball machine at the end! Do you remember how lucky you felt when you scored a blue […]
Calling all non bakers!! I’d like to invite all you not crafty people to join us too!! I’m going to show you how to make the absolute easiest birthday party favor EVER!!! Yes YOU!!! You’re going to make this and it’s going to be awesome. Not only will it be awesome but it will also impress your guests and everyone will LOVE it. WHAT?!? I kid you not. The hardest part of this whole creation is finding the cotton candy. Or at least for me it was! Two weeks before I needed it I saw a whole pallet at Save A Lot. I came back 2 days later to grab what I needed and the entire pallet was gone!! Totally disappeared!! Just an empty space where the cotton candy used to be. I tried Walmart, Target, Tops, and every other store I could think of with no luck. Thank goodness for Amazon and their 2 day shipping!! They had not just one, but about a million different kinds of cotton candy no less. They delivered it right to my door and I could stop panicking about whether I would find it in time. Crisis averted!!
Here’s all you’ll need: ice cream cones, cotton candy, clear treat bags and ribbon. This Amish Farms cotton candy was AMAZING by the way! Super fresh and just melted in your mouth as soon as it touched your tongue.
Place a cone in the bottom of a treat bag. Take a handful of cotton candy and mound it onto the cone. Just mush it on there and cup it with your hand til it resembles a scoop of ice cream. Tie the bag tightly closed with a ribbon to secure and you’re done! Really!! I didn’t use anything to stick the cotton candy and the ice cream cone together. The bag was enough to keep everything in place AND I had to transport them 30 minutes away to the birthday party. Totally fine when we got there!
The kids and adults ALL loved them! And since they’re already packaged up, they could take them home for later. Such a sweet reminder of Ellie’s Amazing Ice Cream Party!!
